fuzzybluebamfHAHAHA Kurt passed 1k (shutup I am totally playing him) at some point and Machika is almost at 10k and those are really the only milestones unless you want me to point out that Leo still hasn’t hit 5k (shock) and Jack...needs to stop playing on his computer and get out more (shhhh love me Brianna I am the best castmate). I have a list of plans that should help that, yaaaay plans.
SO. I shall do First Impressions for Kurt and Relationships for everyone else. And Kurt too, sure, whatever you want. These may devolve into just spamming you with someecards, but there will probably be words too. If you want to do questions beyond that, I like spamming people with wordvomit so that is perfectly acceptable too. Talk to me, Camp, I love you.

For now I will do Kurt and Brianna! Because I think it's the one I haven't talked about much. Basically Brianna is a cool kid--to him, she's already basically family even if she doesn't become an X-Man. She's a mutant like him and she's part of the little group in Camp that he enjoys hanging out with. She's like a little sister and he can pretend to be cool at her and fail utterly because Julian is the cooler big brother. That's okay! He gets that he's the class clown and isn't going to be perceived as "cool" like Julian and Scott Summers are. But he likes having fun with it and he'll poke it because one day you will admit that I am cool and for that reason he might go out of his way to impress tiny mutant sisterthing.
On the flip side, Brianna is a little bratty. XD He's okay with that, but he realizes it's a dangerous combination with Julian's way of thinking and Brianna's natural tendency to jump the gun and be cocky. He puts it towards her age, which makes it a little hard to connect with her. No matter what she's gone through or how mature she might be or think she is, to Kurt she'll still always be a kid and be treated as a kid. So he can't take her completely seriously either (although when does he take anyone seriously).
I ran out of steam. YOU MAY REVERSE IF YOU HAVE THE WILL TO. Or other things, idk.

She enjoys their conversations even when he gets on her nerves, because he's easy to talk to. She just doesn't have that awe and hero worship for him that she has for a lot of the older mutants.

KURT LOEV ROGUE she gets a higher notch than anyone because they're actually family!! And they get along--even before he knew they were related, he hangs out with her and Kitty the most. Their mutual awkward issues with Mystique helps them bond! And...I honestly don't know what they have in common besides being mutants, but somehow they get along really well. He really wants her to be okay with things and wants her to MAKE FRIENDS!! and meet people and stuff like that. He wants Rogue to be happy. But he also knows she has a tsundere personality and he has to live with that, and he likes Rogue being Rogue. Conflicting feelings!! Words. Ich liebe dich, mein Schwester.

on 2011-09-08 09:43 pm (UTC)KURT LOVES CESSILY. She's a fun normal girl (besides the mercury thing) and he likes just hanging out with her and doing teenage things. He connects more with her than Julian, and that's given him a ground to still think of the future X-babies as the team he still knows and loves. He flirted with her a little bit at the beginning, if I recall, but he's moved past that and familyzonned her because X-babies are family. Also because he's infatuated with M'gann oops. He actually does SUPER LIKE Cessily, but it's a brosismance like what he has with Kitty and Rogue. She's easy to talk to and despite all of the crap that being a mutant has put her through, she pulls through. And she was there when he freaked out about his holowatch breaking, and was able to be like "HELLO I have the same problem here!" and that really helped him snap out of it. And he wanted to go punch Julian in the face for upsetting her like that! SERIOUSLY, DON'T UPSET THE GIRLS. He doesn't like it when she's upset and wants to help her forever, because she deserves to be happy. ;;

KURT~! How do I put this? Kurt is the epitome of an annoying little brother. He is always bugging Rogue to go be social and make friends and she really doesn't want to do that (nobody wants to be her friend anyway so there). He is always so damn happy and cheerful and dammit she is being grumpy so stop making her laugh. But she really does depend on Kurt and his incessant cheerfulness and just...genuine concern for her to be happy. She sees that! And she really appreciates that, more than he probably knows because she is terrible at showing that she is glad she has Kurt. Like…okay, so the last few people who said they cared about her ended up being Mystique and we know how that worked out. So it's nice to have someone who actually means it. And she doesn’t have to worry about whether or not Kurt is just pretending to be nice to her because she knows he is just too nice and derpy to do that to someone. A part of her keeps expecting him to get fed up with her grumpiness and issues and she is kind of afraid of ruining his happiness. But she keeps telling herself that he knows how she is and is still choosing to be her family/brother/friend and she is going to try to help him be happy too. So she is starting to really see them as a family. Except kind of more than a family because her whole view of family and friends is kind of mixed up. Kurt is like SuperFamily, and everyone else at the mansion is like what a family is supposed to be in addition to being her entire friend network. And then there's that thing she had with Irene and Raven growing up. :x
BASICALLY She knows she loves Kurt back, even if she would never even know how to go about saying it out loud. And she wants him to be happy back! Like really happy, not just the cheerful happy that goes with his mood, but long term happy too. KEEP TEACHING HER HOW TO HAVE HEALTHY FEELINGS LITTLE BRO.

She's glad that he's stopped flirting with her because she's able to be a lot more relaxed around him now that she's not having "but why is everyone flirting with me" moments. So he's like one of her boys now. One of the team! Kurt was also there for her after the fight with Julian when she was upset, so he gets bonus points for that, and also for saying he'd check in on Julian for her while she couldn't. She thinks it's great that Kurt is taking off his holowatch sometimes because he doesn't need it here, and he shouldn't need it ever anyway because people should just accept and love him as he is, because he's just a lovely guy. Although she wants one. SOMEBODY HAS DOUBLE STANDARDS HERE.
oh and SHE HAS A HUGGING FRIEND. IT IS GREAT.

It is part of her job to keep secrets--if people don't want to talk about things, she is chill with that because there have been worse things compared to strange skin colour. She now needs to find out why he's secretive--although she can probably guess because she is good at stories--and bug him about his world and his school because normal school is actually interesting to someone who had a very informal education from gypsy teachers at first and an assortment of witches later. She is a little slow on this part because she is aware of the fact that she is no longer viewed as the local witch and she is just another teenager in Camp to a lot of other people--so she has to deal with the inevitable awkwardness that ensues. And Kurt is a teenage boy and teenage boys usually cannot utter two coherent words back at home to her so it has been really interesting to talk to a teenage boy in a platonic way.

She enjoys sleeping on her broom sometimes if the weather is nice and appreciates the sun setting over the fields of corn. If she sees people using magic, she will ask them about it if they are willing to talk.

3. The opportunity to observe an unheard of range of magic from hundreds of worlds.
4. Camp has so many new things like electric ovens and refrigerators. And hot water coming out of taps! She likes learning about them.
5. It's still sort of a farm, despite being chaotic and having robot animals, so that is sort of comforting.

She's probably one of his closer friends in Camp at this point, and he likes that she is easy to talk to and easy to tease at times and generally all around an awesome person. ALSO the arguing about the scarecrow was cool because, although Kaito won't admit it, he kind of misses having a friend he can snark at and argue with and still be friends with at the end of the day! Those are the kinds of relationships he really gets into, so now that they have established that kind of rapport he might try to incite silly little arguments with her more often \o/ He does side-eye the scythe a bit, especially since Machika is a very LET'S HIT IT AND MAYBE IT WILL BE FIXED kind of person, and it also has him wondering if he can only befriend violent girls sob. But it's nothing huge and he doesn't really think about it all that often and he knows she likes the scythe, so he's not going to ask her to leave it behind or anything. ALSO he doesn't really want to tell her about Kaitou Kid because she's a bounty hunter and... he is a bit nervous about what she'd do if she found out. Sob.

on 2011-09-14 04:12 pm (UTC)Cindy's mind starts out from her old home, travels through her marriage on one path, skips it in another, winds up running away from invading armies and then running into the New World. There is so much running because that's the only way anyone gets to speak to Cindy in there. If anyone ever makes it into Cindy's New York apartment, it's going to be empty because she's out doing dangerous shit. There are talking animals as guides because of all the running and Cindy's emotional unavailability.
They might get Earth History in the past 200 years while running on a treadmill too.

She doesn't even mind being a puppy, but being a tiny kid reminds her how much she misses Grandfather and she can't help anyone when she's tiny. Machika has this belief that even when Camp does dumb things, there's some sort of reason behind it. But she can't see the reason behind deaging besides to suckerpunch her in the feelings. :( Also it's no fun and she meets too many people when she's tiny and it's awkward when she's big again.

Kurt trusts more of the adult figures in his life. There's the Professor, Logan, Storm, Beast...I would say all of the teachers at the Institute he trusts. He doesn't think they're always RIGHT, but he trusts them to try and do what's best for the students. Which is the only reason he puts up with Logan's training sessions.

- a quasi-demonic entity from the dawn of time that kept possessing people and driving them insane.
- most of her home and the surround countryside when the Wintersmith invaded.
- just about everyone when she went up against the Cunning Man.
So there is no top three--just everyone, every world and the universe.
